Steve Gets Fired is a side quest involving Steve that grants the player the 
Pickaxe, highly recomended to access an optional zone in Mt. Bloom.

- Find Steve in or around Mt Bloom
- Get the pickaxe
- Return to Steve
- Talk to Rock
Walkthrough[]
Steve will be located at the cave’s entrance. He will ask you to get his pickaxe, which he left behind when you've scared him away from the poison cave with a Shroomie.
After retrieving his pickaxe and returning, there will be a note left behind by Steve, and a Shroomie at the cave entrance, suggesting Steve’s escape. The last thing you need to do now is talk to Rock to finish the quest.
Notes[]
- The Pickaxe is highly recomended for traversing an optional section of Mt. Bloom filled with sturdy large crystals. Basic Attacks with it will break them a lot faster than other methods will, allowing you to survive the poison
