Sand Ravens are extremely protective of their territory and will attack anyone that comes too close!
While they mate just once a year, they also have the ability to defensively lay infertile eggs that will hatch into a swarm of short-lived mini birds. These drones will devour anything they get their beaks on, driving most enemies away with their tail between their legs!
It is rumored that Sand Ravens sometime lay eggs just to eat them, and that they have complicated cooking methods for getting them just right. Barbaric!
