The captain of The Lost Ship is an odd skeletal ghost with his mind seemingly still intact!

Description[]

Captain Bones is, or used to be, the captain of The Lost Ship.

During his life he did not shy away from helping his deckhand out, while also studying both trade and languages. As a result, he mastered both the physical and mental fighting styles used by Skeleton Warriors and Skeleton Wizards respectively!

He does not seem to be a bad guy, but did not hesitate to fight you when the ship's ancient artifact was mentioned...

He has a great fondness for writing and reading journals.

Attacks and abilities[]

First Phase[]

Slash[]

Bones will move toward the player quickly and perform a slash with his sword. The can be avoided by moving away or shielding. At lower health, he will dash as he swings the sword.

Summons[]

Bones can summon the following:

  • A large blue cannonball that will fly toward the Player. The cannonball will pierce through the Player if it hits. Upon hitting the wall of the arena, the cannonball will split into several smaller ones that will fly out in a circle. At lower health, 3 of these cannonballs will be summoned
  • 3 smaller cannonballs that will either be summoned from the water or reanimated from the ones lying on the floor. They will fly toward the Player
  • 3 Skulls that appear from the water before firing toward the player. These will also pierce through the player and upon hitting the wall of the arena they will become the enemy, the one that spawns from damaging Skeleton Warriors.#
  • The red skulls from the Skeleton Wizard intermingled with actual skulls will sweep from both sides of the arena. The Player must turn off the Twi-Sight in order to pass through the red skulls. To avoid taking damage, the Player must go through a gap of 2 red skulls (or more) or shield the physical skulls.

Interphase summons[]

Upon transitioning to the second phase, Bones will go to the right of the arena and summon several waves of projectiles on the water. These will go straight up. They can be avoided by going between the gaps in the projectiles. One of the attacks will fire a wooden plank which will allow the Player to move to the lower half of the arena.

Second Phase[]

Bones will enter the second phase when he is hit during the end of his interphase attack. His head will pop off and begin flying around the arena. Bones' head will perform all the summons, while the body will slash at the Player. The Head is invulnerable, and all attacks are the same, however this means Bones can summon and attack at the same time as he is split into 2 separate entities
